Grant Description
Description: This agreement may fund the participation of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services in activities including but not limited to remedial action, oversight of a state contractor performing the remedial action at the New Hampshire Plating Company Superfund Site in the State of New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Plating Company Superfund Site is listed on the National Priorities List of the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Contingency Plan.

Activities:
#61502; Oversee state contractor performing the remedial action at this site.
#61502; Conduct site visits and inspections as appropriate.
#61502; Work with local officials, the public, and other interested parties.
#61502; Participate in conference calls and/or meetings associated with sites.

Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.

Outcomes: The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) is requesting funds to support the remedial action at the New Hampshire Plating Company Superfund Site.

This cooperative agreement contributes to the attainment of environmental results as noted in EPA's Strategic Plan, by supporting New Hampshire's ability to participate in the CERCLA program and by enabling New Hampshire to participate in Superfund cleanups and to consult with EPA before, during, or after Superfund cleanup activities.

The intended beneficiaries of this cooperative agreement are the citizens of the State of New Hampshire.
