Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to the Town of Sharon to implement its project for a PFAS water treatment plant project as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a drinking water infrastructure construction project.
Workplan activities include a water treatment plant that will treat raw water from 3 existing groundwater source wells.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The expected outcomes include a treatment plant that will treat raw water for iron, manganese, and PFAS to meet drinking water standards.
This new WTP ensures that the Town of Sharon stays in compliance with state and federal drinking water regulations.
