Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to the City of Calais to implement its project to replace water mains in town as directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the installation of new cement lined ductile iron water mains to replace existing water mains and services.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables are new pipes, valves, and hydrants replacing the deteriorated infrastructure, which are expected to provide more reliable and safe supply of municipal drinking water for the residents of the City of Calais and for the preservation of the environment.
