Youth Actively Create Opportunities (YACO) Amendment 1

Background
The Youth Actively Create Opportunities (YACO) Amendment 1 seeks to provide answers to questions received with respect to the YACO Activity and extend the closing date for submission from September 15, 2022, to September 30, 2022. The purpose of the planned activity is to increase positive youth contributions to society and collective youth leadership through creating partnerships in support of economic opportunities attractive to youth; strengthening youths’ competencies for jobs, progressive careers and civic life; and promoting values and experiences that underpin self-reliance, such as responsibility, independence, lawfulness, strong ethics, civic engagement, and striving for accomplishment.

Grant Details
The grant requires a detailed technical approach not exceeding 16 pages, a management plan not exceeding 3 pages (excluding the required organizational chart), a draft Activity Monitoring and Evaluation Plan not exceeding 3 pages, and a Key Personnel section not exceeding 2 pages. The grant also includes specific page limits for various sections such as cover page, table of contents, cover letter, and list of acronyms. Additionally, the grant provides specific instructions regarding eligibility information and font size requirements.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility for this NOFO is not restricted. However, preference will be given to applications that demonstrate the creation or utilization of partnerships and/or alliances with one or more capable and experienced local implementing partners. Entities which do not meet the criteria for 'local organization' will be considered ineligible to participate in the further award process.

Period of Performance
The closing date for submission is extended from September 15, 2022, to September 30, 2022 at 5 p.m. Skopje Time.
