VA Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program

Funding priorities include providing assistance in obtaining or retaining permanent housing, employment and benefits assistance, legal services, mental health and addiction services access, and Rapid Resolution services.

Eligibility Requirements
The funding is available only for existing grantees who can demonstrate accreditation from relevant organizations. Priority 1 applicants must have at least one of the following accreditations: 3-year CARF accreditations in Employment and Community Services: Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention standards, 4-year COA accreditations in Housing Stabilization and Community Living Services or 3-year JC accreditations in Behavioral Health Care: Housing Support Services Standards.
Priority 2 includes all other existing grantees seeking to renew their annual grant awards.

Period of Performance
The funding will be awarded for a 1-year project period (Priority 2) or a 3-year project period (Priority 1) beginning October 1, 2024.
