Background
The USGS Non-Competitive Assistance FY 2024 - National Grants Branch aims to support research complementary to USGS program efforts in classification of the public lands and examination of the geological structure, water, mineral, and biological resources, and products of the national domain. The funding opportunity goals include research for natural hazards, energy and mineral resources, ecosystems and environmental health, and water resources.

There is no cost sharing or matching requirement for this grant. However, excluded parties identified in the SAM.gov Exclusions database are ineligible for this Federal program.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract will extend over a specific time frame until September 30, 2024.
