USAID Reducing Pollution

Background
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Vietnam is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from qualified entities to implement the “USAID Reducing Pollution” activity. The overall objective of this activity is to reduce environmental pollution in targeted areas through a collective impact approach. The activity aims to address environmental pollution challenges in Vietnam, including concerns about water and air quality, contamination of waterways, and environmental conservation.

Grant Details
The funding opportunity is authorized under the Foreign Assistance Act (FAA) of 1961, as amended. The resulting award will be subject to 2 CFR 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, and USAID’s supplement, 2 CFR 700. The activity will operate in three phases: Discovery, Organize for Action, and Implementation. The Recipient will be responsible for integrating Collaborating, Learning & Adapting (CLA) throughout the phases, making sub-awards to local entities to implement collective impact initiatives, local capacity development, technical/advisory services, and gender integration.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility for this award is not restricted. To be eligible for award, the applicant must provide all information as required in this NOFO and meet eligibility standards in Section C of this NOFO.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will include three phases: Discovery, Organize for Action, and Implementation. The Recipient will oversee implementation of the Activity and is ultimately accountable to USAID for results.
