1) Conduct a methodologically sound analysis of the digital and social media landscape in Botswana, identifying influential content sources and performing topical sentiment analysis on both domestic and international affairs.

2) Assess the prevalence of misinformation, disinformation, scams, and external influences within the digital space.

3) Utilize data analysis techniques that encompass content produced in both English and Setswana.

4) Provide quarterly updates on findings throughout the project duration.

5) Produce a capstone report summarizing findings, insights, and methodology at the project's conclusion, along with hosting briefings for relevant stakeholders. The grantee will be responsible for all logistics, equipment, expertise, or events necessary for executing these tasks.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include U.S.-based and non-U.S.-based not-for-profit organizations (including think tanks and NGOs), public and private educational institutions, individuals, public international organizations, and profit organizations. All organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued via SAM.gov and valid registration on SAM.gov. Individuals are not required to have these registrations.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this grant is set for 9 months, with an anticipated program start date of October 15, 2024.
