TTO Office Wide (OW) BAA 2025

Background
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), through its Tactical Technology Office (TTO), aims to create technological surprise and provide new options for national security by demonstrating revolutionary platforms and systems with cutting-edge technology. The TTO is soliciting innovative executive summaries and proposals to enhance the nation’s ability to rapidly build, adapt, and sustain force structures in various focus areas.

Grant Details
The TTO is seeking proposals in the following focus areas:

1) Design/Build/Buy - Innovative design approaches throughout the system lifecycle to acquire new defense systems, including new design approaches for manufacturable designs, rapid fabrication methods, and testing approaches that shorten timelines from delivery to military utility.

2) Surge and Sustain - Technologies that make existing military systems easy to replenish and available on-demand, focusing on lower-cost systems, adaptive manufacturing solutions, revitalizing supply chains, and leveraging non-defense production capabilities.

3) Long Range Effects - New systems enabling decisive military effects at tactical to strategic distances against adversary A2/AD strategies, including increasing range and alternative access paths.

4) Disruptive Innovation - Rapidly fielding novel technologies that disrupt traditional military operations through low-cost autonomous systems, decoy strategies, and capabilities undermining adversary readiness. Proposals should investigate innovative approaches leading to revolutionary advances in science or technology.

Eligibility Requirements
All responsible sources capable of satisfying the Government's needs may submit proposals. Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, and Minority Institutions are encouraged to participate; however, no portion of this announcement will be set aside for these organizations due to impracticality. Non-U.S. organizations may participate under compliance with necessary regulations.

Period of Performance
The performance period includes key dates such as a Proposers Day on October 1-2, 2025; Executive Summary due by April 17, 2026; and Proposal due by June 22, 2026.
