To support U.S. participation in the 2025 Osaka, Japan Expo a world class public diplomacy opportunity to showcase U.S. leadership in innovation for the future.
Background
The U.S. Department of State, Office of Policy, Planning, and Resources for the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy (R/PPR) is seeking applications to support the U.S. Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka, Japan Expo. The goal is to enhance the global audience experience at the U.S. Pavilion by showcasing U.S. leadership in innovation for the future.

The grant aims to enhance the experience at the U.S. Pavilion through two objectives: 1) enhancing the experience by exposing a global audience to American culture through live cultural performers and guest speakers, and 2) creating a cultural exchange and work opportunity by way of Youth Ambassadors to guide visitors through the U.S. pavilion. The grant also aims to inform and inspire foreign audiences about the United States, its people, values, and foreign policies, and to promote U.S. economic and commercial interests.
