Support for U.S. Pavilion at 2025 World Expo in Osaka- Japan

Background
The U.S. Department of State, Office of Policy, Planning, and Resources for the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy (R/PPR) is seeking applications to support the U.S. Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka, Japan Expo. The goal is to enhance the global audience experience at the U.S. Pavilion by showcasing U.S. leadership in innovation for the future.

Grant Details
The grant aims to enhance the experience at the U.S. Pavilion through two objectives: 1) enhancing the experience by exposing a global audience to American culture through live cultural performers and guest speakers, and 2) creating a cultural exchange and work opportunity by way of Youth Ambassadors to guide visitors through the U.S. pavilion. The grant also aims to inform and inspire foreign audiences about the United States, its people, values, and foreign policies, and to promote U.S. economic and commercial interests.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include U.S.-based non-profit/non-governmental organizations with or without 501(c)(3) status of the U.S. tax code; private, public, or state institutions of higher education; and for-profit organizations or businesses.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this grant is 2 years.

Grant Value
The total funding floor is $1,100,000 with a total funding ceiling of $3,200,000. Anticipated Number of Awards: 1-2. The grant may result in either a grant or cooperative agreement.

Place of Performance
The grant will be performed at the 2025 Osaka, Japan Expo.
