Period of Performance
The period of performance for these grants is five years. Activities will be funded in years one through three, with closeout activities occurring in years four and five. Projects must start between November 1, 2026, and May 1, 2027.

Grant Value
The total value of the grant is dependent on Congressional appropriations in line with NEH's statutory funding formula. Award amounts are expected to vary based on available funding.

The grants will be performed within the respective states or jurisdictions of the eligible humanities councils.
