Grant Details

Host institutions will transfer knowledge through structured instruction and extension work with faculty, students, and constituents.

Training topics will be developed jointly by USDA/FAS and the applicant after selection and may include areas such as livestock management practices, policy development tools, and biotechnology regulations. The host institution must coordinate with USDA/FAS on logistical elements including candidate recruitment, orientation, and post-trip reviews.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include State cooperative institutions or other colleges and universities in the United States as defined at 7 USC 3103. All applicants must have an active registration in the U.S. Government System for Award Management (SAM) before the application submission deadline. No exceptions or waivers will be considered.
