Description

In an effort to deepen its commitment to locally led development, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Uganda seeks to understand the local partner landscape and is therefore soliciting information from potential new local partners. As a result of this RFI, USAID/Uganda will have a better and more complete understanding of the pool and composition of local organizations that could potentially contribute to USAID's in-country programs.

This information will inform USAID of the local partner landscape and facilitate the invitation of organizations to planned stakeholder engagements over the next 6

months. This RFI is issued SOLELY for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Application (RFA) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFA in the future. This Request for Information does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.

Grant Details
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Uganda is seeking engagement with Uganda local organizations. The purpose of this request is to understand the local partner landscape and facilitate the invitation of organizations to planned stakeholder engagements over the next 6 months. The RFI seeks information from potential new local partners, specifically locally registered organizations, including private/commercial entities, social enterprises, faith-based, non-governmental or civil society, and community-based organizations in Uganda.

Eligibility Requirements
Interested local organizations must have good knowledge in one or more technical areas listed in the RFI. They must be locally registered organizations in Uganda as private/commercial entities, social enterprises, faith-based organizations or NGOs. The organizations should complete Section 1 of the submission instructions and send an email to the Office of Acquisition and Assistance mailbox at kampalausaidsolicita@usaid.gov with an attachment containing answers to Section 1 and optionally Section 2. The submission deadlines are specified in the Stakeholder Engagement Schedule table on page 2.

Period of Performance
The stakeholder engagements are planned over the next 6 months as indicated in the Stakeholder Engagement Schedule table provided in the RFI.
