This initiative seeks to bolster U.S. national security by addressing critical gaps in evidence handling, report writing, and legal interoperability. These elements are essential for successful detentions, seizures, and prosecutions.

Grant Details
The project aims to improve the capacity of Mexican law enforcement and prosecutorial teams through targeted training and capacity building. Key tasks include:

All organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued via SAM.gov and be registered in SAM.gov. Cost sharing is recommended but not required.

Period of Performance
The initial project implementation period is expected to last between 12 to 24 months, starting from April 2026.

Grant Value
Total funding available is $4,000,000, with individual awards ranging from a minimum of $1,000,000 to a maximum of $1,500,000. Up to four awards are anticipated.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance for this grant will be Mexico.
