This competition is open to current recipients and new eligible applicants proposing to provide comprehensive primary health care and support services in outpatient settings for low income, uninsured, and underserved people with HIV in the service areas as described in Appendix C. You can apply if your organization is in the United States and if your organization is a public or non-profit private entity and, as identified in section 2652(a)(1) of the PHS Act, are one of the following types: Federally-qualified health centers under section 1905(1)(2)(B) of the Social Security Act; Grant recipients under section 1001 of the PHS Act (regarding family planning) other than States; Comprehensive hemophilia diagnostic and treatment centers; Rural health clinics; Health facilities operated by or pursuant to a contract with the Indian Health Service; Community-based organizations, clinics, hospitals, and other health facilities that provide early intervention services to people who contracted HIV through intravenous drug use; or Nonprofit private entities that provide comprehensive primary care services to populations at risk of HIV, including faith-based and community-based organizations. Native American tribal governments and organizations are eligible.
