Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part C Capacity Development Program

Background
The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Capacity Development Program is a funding opportunity under the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. The program aims to strengthen organizational infrastructure to respond to the changing health care landscape and increase capacity to develop, enhance, or expand access to high-quality HIV primary health care services for low-income and underserved people with HIV.

Grant Details
The program is intended to support one short-term activity that can be completed by the end of the one-year period of performance. Applicants may propose an expansion of an activity previously supported under FY 2020 or FY 2021 RWHAP Part D Supplemental or Part C Capacity Development funding. The proposed project should build upon and further the objectives of previously funded HIV Care Innovation or Infrastructure Development activities.

Eligibility Requirements
Public and nonprofit private entities, faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations are eligible to apply for these funds.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023 (1 year).

Grant Value
$4,000,000 is expected to be available to fund up to 50 recipients. Applicants may apply for a ceiling amount of up to $150,000 total cost. The actual amount available will not be determined until enactment of the final FY 2022 federal appropriation.
