Background
The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is issuing this TEGL to notify NFJP grantees of PY 2023 grant allotments and to provide instructions for submitting required documents. The NFJP allotments are based on the funds appropriated in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023. The Department will issue individual Housing grant awards based on the results of the 2020 grant competition.

Grant Details
NFJP grantees must submit the required documents through Grants.gov by June 16, 2023. Grantees may apply for Career Services and Training allotments, Housing allotments, and Supplemental Youth funding under this TEGL; however, a separate application package must be submitted for each grant type under the associated funding opportunity numbers in Grants.gov. Applicants must submit the application package through Grants.gov and ensure their registration with SAM.gov.
To receive PY 2023 funding, NFJP grantees must submit via Grants.gov, the required documents including SF-424, SF-424A, Budget Narrative, Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement (NICRA) or Cost Allocation Plan, and PYs 2020-2023 Program Plan.

Eligibility Requirements
Under this grant opportunity, NFJP grantees who were approved to serve youth in PY 2022 and who met their youth enrollment goals are eligible to apply for additional funds.
The services funded through these additional funds are for eligible MSFW youth as defined at the NFJP regulations at 20 CFR 685.110.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for these additional NFJP Youth funds will be the same as the Career Services and Training Allotment Grant.
The period of performance for PY 2023 NFJP grants ends on September 30, 2024.

Grant Value
Applicants may apply for grants of up to $300,000 each.
Final award amounts will be determined subject to available funds.
