NIJ FY25 Research and Evaluation on Youth Justice Topics

Background
The FEMA Digital Messaging System is a communications tool designed to share FEMA corporate information, upcoming events, weather alerts, OCIO outages/statuses, and facilities outages and safety messages across the enterprise network. The system includes dedicated TVs in key locations at FEMA Headquarters and utilizes AppSpace web servers along with Cisco and BrightSign Media Players for content management. The goal of this project is to ensure effective communication within the organization through a reliable digital messaging system.

Grant Details
The contractor will be responsible for the renewal of AppSpace licenses, software configuration and installation, and acceptance review. Specific tasks include:

1) Providing licenses no later than 30 days after award;

2) Configuring the weather widget to the existing AppSpace software no later than 35 days after award;

3) Conducting an acceptance review upon confirmation of renewal receipt and consolidation of weather widgets.

Deliverables must be completed within specified time frames as outlined in the project milestones.

Eligibility Requirements
Contractors must comply with Department of Homeland Security MD 4300 standards, including security protocols for accessing unclassified facilities and handling sensitive information. All contractor employees must undergo background checks and adhere to strict access requirements.

Period of Performance
The total period of performance will include a base period of one year for maintenance support, with potential extensions up to five years based on government discretion.
