Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Burma) is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from qualified US and non-US organizations to implement the Local Empowerment And Resilience Network (LEARN) Activity in which USAID seeks to provide up to $30,000,000 in total USAID funding over a period of up to 5-years. The purpose of this Activity is to empower citizens and communities in Burma to develop and strengthen collaboration between civil society, ethnic service providers, and local administration/community-established governance structures to increase local agency, encourage social cohesion, and meet community needs. Eligibility for this award is not restricted.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Burma) is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from qualified US and non-US organizations to implement the Local Empowerment And Resilience Network (LEARN) Activity. The purpose of this Activity is to empower citizens and communities in Burma to develop and strengthen collaboration between civil society, ethnic service providers, and local administration/community-established governance structures to increase local agency, encourage social cohesion, and meet community needs.

Grant Details
The purpose of this Amendment No. 01 is to provide USAID/Burma’s responses to the questions received by the deadline provided in the subject NOFO (Part I) and to revise some sections of the NOFO (Part II). The total USAID funding over a period of up to 5-years is up to $30,000,000. The activity should support partnerships and programs that equitably empower local actors, strengthen local systems, and facilitate local leadership so that development and humanitarian assistance is more effective and sustainable.

Eligibility Requirements
Organizations do not need to be registered in Myanmar or Thailand in order to be eligible for USAID funding or award. Organizations will need to comply with federal requirements for obtaining a unique entity identifier (UEI) to be eligible for assistance funding (either as a prime or sub recipient).

Period of Performance
The total USAID funding is over a period of up to 5-years.
