Description

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to solicit applications that use innovative technology to conduct epidemiologic studies of large cohorts of U.S. populations at high risk of HIV: men who have sex with men (MSM), people who inject drugs (PWID), and transgender women and men, focusing especially on the minority and age groups at highest risk of HIV transmissions. The major goal is to support investigators who will use innovative electronic methods to recruit and retain large samples of persons at high risk of HIV, comparing those who become HIV-positive to those who do not, and optionally to develop and test digitally-delivered interventions that promote HIV risk reduction to reduce HIV-incidence.
