Background
The Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program (HTPCP) is administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) under the Maternal and Child Health Bureau. The program aims to support community-based projects that enhance access to preventive clinical and public health services for underserved children.

The initiative is a response to concerning trends in child health, particularly in areas such as behavioral health, immunizations, and well-visits among adolescents. Since its inception in 1989, HTPCP has positively impacted over 1.8 million individuals across various underserved communities.

Grant Details
The HTPCP seeks proposals for community-based projects that focus on one or more of the following child health topics: children's behavioral health screenings and referrals, children's immunizations, and adolescents' well-visits.

Key objectives include implementing evidence-informed or evidence-based projects with measurable outcomes, building partnerships with maternal and child health programs, engaging individuals with lived experience in project activities, and developing sustainability plans for lasting improvements in maternal and child health. Projects must align with Bright Futures guidelines and address social determinants of health (SDOH).

Applicants are expected to establish an advisory board, participate in technical assistance activities, and develop a comprehensive evaluation plan to measure project impact.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include public institutions of higher education, private institutions of higher education, nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status), for-profit organizations (including small businesses), state and local governments, independent school districts, Native American tribal governments and organizations. Individuals are not eligible to apply. Applications must meet specific completeness criteria to be considered.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is set for five years, beginning July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030. Funding will be provided in five 12-month budget periods.

Grant Value
The total available funding for FY 2025 is $450,000. Up to six grants will be awarded with each grant providing funding up to $75,000 per year.
