Background
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is accepting applications for the fiscal year (FY) 2023 Ending the HIV Epidemic – Primary Care HIV Prevention (PCHP) funding opportunity under the Health Center Program. The purpose of PCHP is to expand HIV prevention services that decrease the risk of HIV transmission in underserved communities in support of Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S.

Grant Details
The FY 2023 funding will make available HIV prevention investments to Health Center Program operational (H80) grant award recipients located in the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. geographic locations that did not receive an FY 2020, FY 2021, or FY 2022 PCHP award. The total annual available funding is approximately $50,000,000 to fund up to 140 recipients, with an estimated award amount of up to $350,000 per year. The period of performance is from September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2026 (3 years).

Eligibility Requirements
Organizations eligible for PCHP funding are Health Center Program operational grant (H80) award recipients located in specific geographic locations and did not receive a PCHP award in previous fiscal years. Cost sharing/matching is not required for this program.

The period of performance for the grant is from September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2026 (3 years).
