Eligible applicants include private operators providing intercity over-the-road bus transportation who have completed a vulnerability assessment and developed a security plan approved by the Secretary of Homeland Security. Applicants must operate fixed-route intercity bus services or charter bus services with a minimum of 50 trips annually to historically eligible Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) urban areas. Each applicant may submit only one application, and subapplicants or subawards are not permitted.
