Description

The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to support research to explore the impacts of extreme weather and disaster events on the basic biology of aging. The goal is to fund studies in laboratory animals that will complement and inform studies in the companion FOA on the adverse effects of extreme weather and related disasters in the elderly and adults over the aging life course.
