This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) announces the availability of up to $100 million in Federal funding to repair and replace existing, but non-operational, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Under this NOFO entitled Electric Vehicle Charger Reliability and Accessibility Accelerator, the Government intends to award multiple grants to eligible applicants. Eligible applicants for this program are limited to State departments of transportation and local governments. This NOFO requires applicants to use Grants.gov to submit applications. Applicants must register and use the system to submit applications electronically. Background
The U.S. Department of Transportation, specifically the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has announced a grant opportunity entitled 'Electric Vehicle Charger Reliability and Accessibility Accelerator.' The grant aims to improve the reliability of existing electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure by repairing and replacing non-operational EV chargers. Grant Details

The total amount of funding available is up to approximately $100 million. The planned award type is a cost-reimbursable grant. Applicants are required to submit applications not exceeding five pages in total. The application due date is November 13, 2023 at 11:59 pm EST via www.Grants.gov.

Eligibility Requirements
Cost sharing or matching is required, with the maximum Federal share being 80 percent of the total project cost. Projects must support repair or replacement of existing broken or non-operational publicly accessible Level 2 or DCFC EV chargers listed by the Alternative Fuels Station Locator as of October 11, 2023.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for awards is 12 months from the date of the grant agreement.
