DoW Prostate Cancer, Data Science Award

Background
The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) Data Science Award (DSA) supports research that develops or uses quantitative and analytical approaches, processes, and/or systems to obtain knowledge and insight from large and/or complex sets of prostate cancer data.

The focus areas include analysis of clinically annotated datasets, -omics data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, bioinformatics, computational biology, digital pathology, epidemiology, and medical imaging. All applications must address one of the FY26 PCRP Overarching Challenges.

Grant Details
The DSA aims to support research projects that utilize quantitative methods to analyze prostate cancer data. Applications must address specific challenges outlined by the PCRP. This funding mechanism allows for multiple Principal Investigators (PIs), where only the initiating PI submits a pre-application while all PIs submit full applications. Partnering PI applications are abbreviated packages specific to their distinct portions of the research project. If any associated application is rejected or withdrawn, all related applications may also be withdrawn.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility is open to multiple Principal Investigators (PIs) who can collaborate on a single project.
