Industry Day Presentation:
The Federal HBCU Industry Day is scheduled for September 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (ET) and will feature prominent speakers such as Alfred C. Johnson from the National Institutes of Health, Diane J. Frasier from NIH, David Dasher from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Aminta H. Breaux, Ph.D., President of Bowie State University.
One workshop will focus on obtaining a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) with a panel from GSA explaining the process for HBCUs to access the MAS for federal contract work. Another workshop will cover the FDA Federal Funding Assistance Program, providing information on how the FDA can support conferences and meetings aligned with its mission through funding assistance.
Keynote address by Lawrence A. Tabak, D.D.S., Ph.D., Principal Deputy Director at NIH, will also be featured along with networking opportunities among HBCUs, small businesses, and federal agencies during the event.
