Wolfe Avenue, Bldg. 2800 Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: Industry Day, Test Mission Advisory Services (TMAS) at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, Solicitation Number FA9304-12-R-0100 1. In order to keep Industry up to date with the latest information an initial Industry Day meeting for the Test Mission Advisory Services (TMAS) acquisition will be held on 20 & 21 June 2012 at the Edwards Air Force Base Conference Center, 90 Farrell Drive, Building 5620, Edwards AFB, CA from 0800 to 1630. Registration will begin at 0730. 2. The intent of this Industry Day meeting is to provide a TMAS requirements overview, exchange ideas, discuss the TMAS acquisition and gather information. TMAS is a potential Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) program that will focus on both engineering and non-engineering program support, to include; systems engineering, program management, electronic warfare, acquisition, information management, logistics, environmental management, financial management, and acquisition security management. TMAS will support the planned Air Force Test Center (AFTC) at both Edwards AFB and Eglin AFB and may additionally include other AFTC support and enterprise partnerships. This meeting is to provide an initial overview of the preliminary requirements and envisioned acquisition strategy. Contractors may request a one-on-one session with the Government team that will be held on 21 June 2012. One-on-one sessions will be held at 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Building 2800 in the Leo Bassegio Conference Room, located just inside the reception area. One-on- one sessions will not exceed 30 minutes and will be scheduled by the Government prior to the event. 3. In order to attend the Industry Day meeting, submit a written request via e-mail with the subject line: TMAS Industry Day, by close of business 12 June 2012, to Ms. Thania Alexander, e-mail with a copy to Mr. Brian Barcelona, e-mail If a one-on-one session is desired, please note the request in your e-mail. 4. The Visit Request should identify: Company Name, Company Address, Attendee Name(s), Company Phone, e-mail information, and the completed sign-up sheet attached. Due to limited seating, each interested company may have up to three people attend the Industry Day meeting. Contractors that are unable to attend will not be excluded from participating in future industry meetings or competition for this effort. Also, Contractors unable to attend may obtain information presented by requesting the information from Ms. Thania Alexander at The Government may be better able to answer questions if they are submitted prior to the event. Therefore, interested parties are encouraged to submit questions relative to the TMAS program in writing no later than 18 June 2012. The attendee list, as well as the questions and answers, will be posted on FedBizOpps for all interested parties. We anticipate posting a draft performance work statement prior to this meeting. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS NOTICE OR TO OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION REQUESTED. This Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No entitlement to payment of direct, indirect costs, travel expenses, or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor’s submission of responses to this notice, attendance at the Industry Day meeting, or the Government’s use of such information obtained by this notice. This notice does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract.
