Torpedo Industry Day Event Information

INDUSTRY DAY:
The Undersea Weapons Program Office (PMS404) will hold a Torpedo Industry Day on Wednesday, 3 November
2021. The purpose of the Industry Day is to increase industry awareness of upcoming torpedo program opportunities in
the undersea weapons domain. This event will be SECRET//NOFORN. To participate in the Industry Day
Conference, Registration and a Visit Request for each person attending is required no later than 27 October
2021. The event will be held at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport, Building 1346, Chafee
Auditorium, Newport, RI 02841.

REGISTRATION:
Each company interested in participating in this Industry Day must complete and submit the attached Torpedo
Industry Day Registration Form no later than 27 October 2021. Submit the completed registration form via email
to Dorothy.meehan@navy.mil. Due to space constraints, the number of attendees will be limited to one (1)
person per company/division, with a total attendance capacity of 35 persons. Intent to participate in the One-on-
One Sessions must be indicated on the returned Industry Day Registration Form. Walk-ins and unregistered
personnel will not be permitted.

VISIT REQUESTS:
Visit requests are MANDATORY for access to NUWC Division Newport and the Torpedo Industry Day venue.
Registrants will receive a confirmation email containing a complete security package including directions to
NUWC Division Newport, parking information, and a draft agenda no later than 28 October 2021. Do not assume
you are registered until you receive the confirmation email.

GENERAL SESSION/ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS:
The General Session will begin at 0900, with check-in commencing at 0730. One-on-One Sessions will be held following
the General Session, and will be limited to 30 minutes per session. Sessions will be scheduled on a first
served basis until all time slots are filled. The Government will inform attendees of their scheduled session time no
later than 28 October 2021. Participation in the One-on-One Sessions is not a requirement.

does not commit the Government to contract for any information provided. Further, the Government is not
seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals for any of the technical requirements discussed
during the event. The Government will not hear formal bids from industry. Industry will not be permitted to set up
marketing material or have booth space at this event. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay
for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice; all costs associated with responding
to this notice (or marketing efforts) and traveling to Industry Day will be solely at the interested parties' expense.

Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future event. It is the responsibility of the
potential interested respondees to monitor SAM.gov for additional information pertaining to the upcoming Industry
Day.

This is not a pre-solicitation, pre-bid, or pre-proposal conference; this event is for informational purposes only and
will not be designed to provide formal briefings on any specific acquisition requirement. There will be no fee to
attend, however, industry participants will be required to preregister.
