Summary
This performance work statement (PWS) is for request for proposals (RFP) no. 80larc25r7001, issued by NASA. The contractor is tasked with providing comprehensive management, personnel, equipment, and services to support occupational safety and health programs at three NASA centers: Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC), and Langley Research Center (LARC).
The primary objective of this contract is to ensure compliance with NASA policies and federal regulations while fostering a safe work environment across diverse facilities that encompass office, industrial, and laboratory spaces.
The scope of work includes two main areas: institutional occupational safety and occupational health services. Specific tasks involve conducting safety inspections, providing fire safety support, industrial hygiene services, and radiation protection services tailored to the unique needs of each center. The contractor must also be prepared to perform tasks at off-site locations as required.
The PWS outlines the qualifications necessary for personnel involved in these services and emphasizes the importance of integrating risk-based analysis into facility management decisions to enhance safety performance.
Additionally, the contract operates under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) framework, allowing for task orders to be issued as needed. The contractor will interface with various NASA organizations to ensure effective communication and collaboration in achieving safety goals.
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is mandatory throughout the contract duration. Regular meetings with NASA representatives will be held to review project status and address any issues that arise during the execution of the contract.
