Summary
This **RFQ Award Delivery Information** issued for **Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix, Federal Bureau of Prisons**, establishes delivery requirements for awarded food products for **Fiscal Year 2027, second quarter**, including the expected delivery window, receiving procedures, product-condition standards, inspection rights, and consequences for noncompliance.

Complete delivery of all awarded items is expected **January 1–15, 2027**, unless a product specification provides otherwise. Deliveries are accepted **Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.** The warehouse is closed Fridays and all federal holidays.

Vendors—not shipping companies—must schedule delivery appointments with Food Service warehouse personnel at **609-723-1100, extensions 1502, 1513, 6576, or 6574**, contacting Dan, George, or Guerrero. Billing may be submitted only after all delivered products have been fully accounted for.

All deliveries must be palletized unless the warehouse approves another arrangement in advance. Side-loaded pallets are prohibited.

Products must meet the following temperature and condition requirements:

- Non-frozen perishables: **34–41°F**
- Canned goods: **Above 34°F and not frozen**
- Frozen foods: **0°F or colder**

The following products will be refused:

- Products showing evidence of prior thawing
- Items received past their best-by, use-by, or expiration dates
- Certified religious-diet products lacking the **OU Kosher symbol on individual packages**

Contractors are responsible for obtaining and complying with the BOP National Menu Specifications. All items are subject to close inspection, including possible thawing and cooking to verify size, weight, specification compliance, and wholesomeness.

The warehouse may conditionally accept deliveries for up to **three days** to complete examination and testing. Nonconforming products will be refused.

Conditionally received items later determined unacceptable must be removed by the vendor at its expense within **two weeks** of notification. Otherwise, warehouse staff may dispose of them.

Failure to meet delivery schedules without an excusable delay or failure to satisfy contract specifications may adversely affect the contractor’s past-performance record, influence future award decisions, and potentially support a determination that the contractor is not responsible for future requirements.
