Construction Industry Day
Individual Meetings
We still have a couple of openings on the 9th.
Contractors have the opportunity to meet one on one with USACE on June 8th and 9th, 2022 in person or via WebEx.
Meetings time slots are available at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm EST each day.
Time slots will be filled on a first come first served basis.
These meetings will be held at the Pittsburgh Engineer Warehouse and Repair Station (PEWARS) located at 3500 Grand
Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15225 or virtually by request.
Contractors are limited to 4 personnel for in-person or virtual meetings.

Construction Industry Day
Security Requirements
No later than May 25th, 2022, all prime contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and other vendors who plan to
attend the construction contractor industry day will need to provide all information required for criminal history checks
to meet facility access requirements to be accomplished by the Pittsburgh District Security Office.
No one will be admitted to the event without clearance from the Pittsburgh District Security Office.
In order to complete the background check, please fill out the attached LRP Security Information Sheet with the
attendees and send to christopher.t.dening@usace.army.mil
Construction Industry Day
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Montgomery Lock is an active construction site.
PPE is required: steel-toed boots, hard hats, life jackets are required.
USACE can provide limited hard hats and life jackets if necessary.
QUESTIONNAIRES
Written contractor feedback is requested and greatly appreciated.
Please email christopher.t.dening@usace.army.mil with completed questionnaires by June 17th.
Questionnaires will be considered proprietary and will not be made public. Partially completed questionnaires are
acceptable.
