NAVFAC OICC CHINA LAKE AND NAVFAC SOUTHWEST VIRTUAL
INDUSTRY FORUM FOR CHINA LAKE EARTHQUAKE RECOVERY
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Officer In
Charge of Construction (OICC) China Lake and NAVFAC Southwest, in
coordination with the City of Ridgecrest, will host a Virtual Industry Forum on
January 27, 2021, from 0900 to 1130 PST. You are encouraged to monitor the
beta.sam.gov website for updates to this announcement.
This is a multi-purpose event. The main session will include an OICC China Lake
Earthquake Recovery update to include an overview of current and projected
workload, NAVFAC SW Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC)
overview, Small Business Presentation, and a Public Works Department (PWD)
Naval Air Warfare Station (NAWS) China Lake Earthquake Recovery Overview.
The City of Ridgecrest City Manager will follow with an overview of the City of
Ridgecrest capabilities. Next, there will be a question and answer (Q&A) session
with representatives from OICC China Lake, NAWS China Lake, NAVFAC SW,
and the City of Ridgecrest. NAVFAC SW prime MACC contractors may host
their own events to interface with attendees via separate venues sponsored by the
MACC contractors; times and dates for applicable MACC sponsored events will be
provided during the industry forum. Interested parties are encouraged to provide
detailed capabilities statements and their availability to the MACC prime
contractors via the respective contractors preferred media.
This is not a request for proposal, nor will NAVFAC SW be awarding contracts at
this event. All NAVFAC SW future contracts will be solicited through the
established regulatory procedures. No reimbursement will be made for any costs
associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any
follow-up information requests.
