Airfield Operations and Support.

Question: Please describe to what extent
aircraft maintenance will be conducted under
AITD (e.g., maintaining a training fleet
separate from brigades, etc.)

Answer: 1. The AITD contractor will not
provide aircraft maintenance. 2. Buildup
refers to transition in.

Question: Please explain what buildup for
Airfield Operations and Support mission
entails at AITD.

Answer: None

Text states that the Contractor will staff the
Training Management Office with certified
Training and Management Specialists.

Question: Please describe in more detail the
type and level of certification that the
Government desires to have in these
specialists.

Answer: Contractor is responsible to define
their personnel qualifications to meet the
PWS requirements

Text states The contractor shall provide OJT to
MNG AVN personnel, currently 10 level certified,
in achieving 20 level certifications within 18
months; and provide OJT to MNG AVN personnel
with 20 level to 30 level certifications training
within 12 months.

Question: What is the current total number of
MNG AVN personnel in the OJT training
program by MOS directly related to the AITD
mission?

Answer: PMO will revise the PWS and post.

provided Maintenance Management System to
manage and document the overall maintenance
program and aircraft status for assigned aircraft.

Question: Are you asking the contractor to manage
and document the overall maintenance program even
though another contractor may possibly be performing
the work? And if the answer is yes, what guidelines will
the Government provide to facilitate possible interaction
with the other contractor?

Answer: The AITD contractor is not required
to conduct aircraft maintenance.

Text states The contractor shall use the MNG
provided Logistics and Supply Chain Management
System to manage the overall re-order, order,
replenishment stock level, Supply class tracking,
and parts tracking program for the Supply Chain
Management System.

Question: Are you asking the contractor to manage
the program Supply Chain Management system even
though another contractor may possibly be performing
the work? And if the answer is yes, what guidelines will
the Government provide to facilitate possible interaction
with the other contractor?

Answer: No; Contractor shall input work order and
work requests into ERP system. MNG shall approve
and source via different government sourcing outside
of this contract.
