Industry Day Announcement
Program Executive Officer Land Systems (PEO LS), Quantico, VA
This is an announcement for an upcoming Industry Day hosted by
the Program Manager (PM), Advanced Amphibious Assault (AAA),
Program Executive Officer Land Systems, at Marine Corp Base
Quantico. PM AAA is planning the requirement for design,
development and delivery of a training device suite of Training
Systems incorporating advanced technological solutions to
support the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV). The effort to
design, manufacture, and deliver training systems that support
the skills transfer, operation, and maintenance of the ACV
include the following concepts: the Procedural/Troubleshooting
Trainer (PTST), which trains students in the diagnostics,
troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing of the ACV systems
and subcomponents; Electronic Classrooms/Interactive Courseware
(EC/ICW), which supports instructor-led, classroom training
using 3-D modeling and imagery of ACV in a digital environment;
and the Part Task Install/Remove Trainer (PTIRT), which provides
focused maintenance skills to remove & install ACV powerpack &
suspension components.
The Industry Day is scheduled for September 27, 2022. The
presentation will begin promptly at 9:00am EDT and last until
4:00pm EDT. One hour is allotted for lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
The schedule for this event will be sent to individual vendors
via e-mail after the final number of respondents is confirmed.
The Industry Day will include opening comments and briefings at
the UNCLASSIFIED level. Interested vendors will be able to
request a private 1-on-1 20-minute meeting with the requirements
team in order to discuss new and emerging technologies related
to the requirement. Please note that 1-on-1 meetings are for
vendors who intend to propose as a Prime contractor and are
limited to 20 minutes. There will be an opportunity after lunch
for each vendor to tour an ACV.
Updates on this Industry Day event will be published by
amendment to this Industry Day announcement. This Industry Day
event may end sooner than the scheduled time, depending on the
number of respondents.
This notice is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations.
The purpose of this Industry Day announcement is to invite
interested vendors to receive information on the Marine Corps
requirements, and to receive information back that may be able
to provide insight into conditions that affect the requirements.
Industry Day Location
The Industry Day will be conducted on-board Marine Corps Base
Quantico, VA. Specific location and directions will be provided
with confirmation of the RSVP.
Interested vendors should submit a Notice of Intent to
participate (RSVP) in the Industry Day general session and 1-on-
1 meeting requests by September 13, 2022. Requests after this
date may not be honored.
Only US citizens will be permitted to attend. Limit two
attendees per vendor.
One-on-one meetings will be scheduled on a first-come, first-
served basis and based on relevancy of experience and knowledge
related to the requirements. Scheduling requests by phone
cannot be accommodated. If your organization does not have any
technology or information related to the requirements, you may
not be scheduled for a 1-on-1 meeting and potentially may not be
permitted to attend the general industry day briefing.
RSVP Instructions
1. Requests to attend must include the following information.
a. Name, SAM Unique Entity ID, and address of vendor
b. Points of Contact
i. Attendees: name, title, citizenship, telephone,
e-mail
ii. Primary POC: name, title, e-mail, phone
c. Primary point of contact for the vendor
d. Recommendations for areas of discussion by the
Government at the Industry Day regarding the
requirements.
e. A short description of vendors relevancy of
experience and knowledge related to the requirements,
the vendors technologies being presented and any
other relevant information for discussion. Vendors
without a submitted RSVP may not receive access to the
Industry Day.
2. Send attendance requests to Tyronza Jean-Louis at

victoria.downing@usmc.mil.
3. Attendance confirmation and time slot assignment for 1-on-1
meetings will be emailed to the Primary POC on or before
September 20, 2022.
Requirements Description
The Government intends to provide a briefing on the requirements
outlined in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) that will be
provided upon request at the time of RSVP from the Contract
Specialists listed below. Draft SOW requests must be included
within the RSVP. The vendor will receive an email from the SAFE
system to gain access to the SOW through the website
https://safe.apps.mil.
Interested vendors are invited to provide feedback or questions
by 20 September 2022 to assist in the formulation of the
specific agenda items. Only questions submitted prior to 20
September 2022 will be addressed at Industry Day. Provide
feedback or questions to Tyronza Jean-Louis at

victoria.downing@usmc.mil.
Notice
This Industry Day is in follow-up to the Request for Information
(RFI) # M67854-22-0059 posted on SAM.gov on 23 May 2022.
The Government may use non-Government support contractor
personnel to assist in collecting and reviewing submitted
information. Submission of proprietary information is highly
discouraged, but if vendor proprietary information is necessary
to provide a description of the vendors relevancy of experience
and knowledge related to the requirements as outlined in the
RSVP instructions, this information will be protected from
unauthorized disclosure as required by Subsection 27 of the
Federal Procurement Policy Act as amended (41 U.S.C. 423)
(hereinafter referred to as "the Act"). Supporting contractor
personnel are procurement officials within the meaning of the
Act, and will take all necessary action to preclude unauthorized
use or disclosure of Vendor's proprietary data.
This Industry Day announcement is for market research
knowledge sharing only and is not a commitment by the
Government to procure or solicit for any items or
services. No reimbursement will be provided for any
responses or attendance at the industry day. No
solicitation currently exists or is in development.
