Industry Day Notice: A-10 CICS Industry Day Notice.docx
The A-10 Central Interface Control System (CICS) program team is organizing a virtual industry day scheduled for 25 – 26 August 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. This event will feature one-on-one sessions with individual offerors over the two days, complemented by a slide-show presentation released beforehand to provide current information on the CICS requirement.
The Air Force is inviting potential contractors interested in the total redesign of the A-10 CICU to participate in this industry day. Additionally, there is a mention of potentially utilizing an Other Transaction Authority for prototypes through the System of Systems Consortium (SOSSEC) as an acquisition platform for CICS, although this avenue has not been finalized.
Participation in the virtual industry day will involve one or one and a half-hour time slots for individual one-on-one sessions, which participants can reserve on a first-come-first-served basis. Offerors are encouraged to send their formal presentations to the contracts specialist for distribution to the CICS IPT at least one business day before the session.
Only contractors registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Services Center and possessing an approved DD Form 2345 will receive copies of the draft requirements document and related technical specifications due to export control laws and regulations. It is emphasized that this industry day notice is not a request for proposal (RFP) or an invitation for bid, and participation does not guarantee an award or payment from the Air Force.
