EGLIN AFB VENDOR INDUSTRY DAY 2020 All Business Outreach Networking Event 9 July 2020 SAVE THE DATE: The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/PK-OL Eglin) will host a no cost Virtual Industry Day on 9 July 2020. This virtual forum provides insight and government perspectives regarding current federal procurement policy and/or initiatives associated with Air Force Acquisition. We recognize Eglin’s many diverse mission needs and have framed topics to address interests that are shared by a broad industry spectrum for both large and small businesses. This year’s event is going to have a “Small Business” focus but there will also be valuable information provided for large businesses. We’ve partnered with the local Florida Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and the University of West Florida (UWF). Four Virtual Sessions will be held throughout the day on July 9th each approximately an hour long. The two morning sessions will feature presentations from the Fort Walton Beach, FL area PTAC and regional Procurement Center Representatives from Jacksonville and Mobile. The afternoon sessions feature presentations from a Small Business Liaison Officer on small business participation requirements in government contracts with the final session of the day provided by the local Florida Small Business Development Center representative covering the Small Business Innovative Research/Small Business Technology Transfer programs to include a supplemental presentation on resources available through UWF.
