LAB REQUESTING SERVICE: Communications Technology Laboratory, Public Safety
Communications Research (671.01)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
PSCR laboratories provide research, development, testing, and evaluation to foster
nationwide public safety communications interoperability. In order to be able to
accurately test, monitor, and measure LMR and LTE signals within NIST standards,
calibrated periodically to manufacturer standards. In order to meet these standards, PSCR
must maintain a manufacturer-approved calibration with uncertainties and guardbanding
for all existing equipment manufactured by Keysight.

SCOPE OF WORK

- Three-year (once per year) manufacturer-approved calibration, uncertainties, and

guardbanding service of the government-owned equipment:

SPECIFICATIONS

See II. Scope of Work.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

Service shall be completed within one week of receipt of equipment by contractor. The
government shall schedule the service dates with the contractor within 90 days of contract.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

All work shall be completed at the contractor facility. Equipment to be upgraded/calibrated will
be picked up at the NIST Boulder campus (Colorado) by a courier and shipped to contractor
facility at expense of contractor. Contractor will return equipment to NIST Boulder campus at
expense of contractor.
