Design-build project for Army reserve center Maintenance Repair Army Reserve (MRAR) at newtown square, PA. Includes repairing the failing 38,987 square feet edgemont Army Reserve Center (ARC) building 92001 by reconfiguring the internal layout to meet training and operational requirements, removing non-structural interior walls, and creating open flexible workspace. Repairs will address mechanical, plumbing, roofing, communication, and electrical systems, including code compliant restrooms, light fixtures, fire alarm and suppression system, and electrical conduit distribution. Exterior structural elements, life safety deficiencies, DOD antiterrorism standards, accessibility for individuals with disabilities, asbestos abatement if found, and required swing space in the adjacent ARC will also be provided.
