Design-build full facility restoration of primary facility building 100 Army reserve center in des moines, IA. Includes renovation, alteration, repair, and upgrade of the approximately 75,000 square foot arc and 13,000 square foot vms, as well as improvements to the Personally Owned Vehicle (POV) lot, Military Equipment Parking (MEP) lot, and access road to comply with Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) guidelines. The scope includes interior demolition for new spatial arrangements, full facility accessibility, new mechanical and electrical systems, new interior finishes, fire protection and alarm/mass notification systems, lighting upgrades, information systems installation, exterior repairs (walls, roofing, doors, signage), hazardous material abatement, connection to energy monitoring and control systems, and limited site work such as landscaping, fencing, gates, signage, handicapped parking/ramps, and access road improvements. Supporting facilities work includes land clearing, paving, fencing, general site improvements, utility connections, and incorporation of sustainability/energy and physical security measures in accordance with DOD unified facilities criteria.
