Government Description
Design build construction of a child development center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Includes design and construction of a new permanent CDC facility featuring exposed concrete flooring and floor slab, masonry walls, standing seam metal roof, HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting, and other utilities, fire detection and suppression systems, fencing, communication support, parking, pick-up/drop-off area, access road, site improvements, landscaping, outdoor play areas, covered areas, and all other necessary support. The project also involves demolition and abatement of existing steam lines under outdoor play areas and incorporates design changes as required. Construction will comply with Department of Defense unified facilities criteria for antiterrorism/force protection and high performance/sustainable requirements.
