Government Description
Award of the VA louisville medical center - louisville, KY. This project involves the construction of a new medical center campus to replace aging facilities at the robley rex VA Medical Center (VAMC), including a 104-BED hospital, structured parking for approximately 2,600 cars, a central utility plant, a laundry facility, roadways, sidewalks, perimeter fencing, landscaping, and other site improvements on a 34-ACRE site. Additional work includes updates to hospital panelboards, installation of waterproofing systems, removal and replacement of fencing, removal of sheds and contents, installation of underslab drainage systems, changes to hospital electrical feeders, masonry to metal panel transitions, removal of central vacuum in laundry, regulated medical waste changes, and installation of backflow preventers. The contract also covers mechanical couplers, stc wall changes, paint and mpi changes, fire hose connection locations, and various other construction and infrastructure improvements throughout the new VA louisville medical center campus.
