Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Maintenance Dredging, Fy26 Contract, North Carolina. Includes Maintenance Dredging of The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) channel between currituck county and brunswick county, North Carolina, consisting of the removal of shoaled material that has accumulated in the channels since the last dredging. Dredging depths range from 8 to 12 feet plus 2 feet of allowable over depth, and all dredging is performed by hydraulic cutter suction dredge. Dredged material is placed on approved ocean beaches, bird islands, and upland confined placement areas with containment dikes and spillway systems, with beach placement occurring at locations including carolina beach, figure 8 island, holden beach, ocean isle beach, and onslow beach, North Carolina.
