Government Description
Lower norco bluffs toe protection involves earth fill placed against existing bluffs, approximately 7,330 feet in length, revetted with riprap slope protection and a launchable stone toe blanket. The embankment fill raises the grade between 12 and 25 feet above existing grade to provide protection up to a 100-YEAR flow event Water Surface Elevation (WSE). Includes excavation down to 2 feet above typical groundwater, installation of a launchable stone toe varying in width between 10 and 30 feet and 9 feet high, concrete curb installation, repairs to decking and roof, replacement of damaged water heater, maintenance and security guard services, pest control services, load center/panelboard testing, installation of 240V outlets and garbage disposals, remote gates and speed bumps, grout edge of 42-INCH riprap at roadside, and modifications to the upstream terminus.
