INCLUDES CONSTRUCTION OF A 24,564 SQFT NATIONAL GUARD VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SHOP (VMS) AT THE BAKERSFIELD ARMY NATIONAL GUARD READINESS CENTER, KERN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FEATURING A BACKUP/EMERGENCY GENERATOR, ORGANIZATIONAL VEHICLE PARKING, CONTROLLED WASTE FACILITY, FLAMMABLE MATERIALS FACILITY, AND ELECTRIC POWER WITH PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS. TASKS ENCOMPASS COMPREHENSIVE INTERIOR DESIGN, INSTALLATION OF UTILITY SERVICES, INFORMATION SYSTEMS, FIRE DETECTION AND ALARM SYSTEMS, CONSTRUCTION OF INFRASTRUCTURE SUCH AS ROADS, WALKS, CURBS, GUTTERS, STORM DRAINAGE, AND PARKING FOR APPROXIMATELY 20 PRIVATELY OWNED VEHICLES. THE PROJECT ALSO INVOLVES IMPLEMENTATION OF A QUALITY CONTROL (QC) PROGRAM, PREPARATION OF INSPECTION REPORTS, CONDUCTING SPECIAL INSPECTIONS, ENSURING ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE PER THE INSTALLATION'S ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS), AND TRAINING PERSONNEL ON OPERATIONAL SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT.
