Houston ship channel improvement project segment 3, harris county, Texas. Includes widening the barbours cut navigation channel to approximately 455 feet and expanding the barbours cut flare; constructing a bulkhead cut-off wall and realigning the existing placement area berm on spilman island; performing shoreline protection; removing the morgan’s point lash dock; developing the M12 beneficial use site dredged material placement area; and dredging the barbours cut channel and cedar bayou channel for new construction and maintenance. Additional tasks involve hydrographic surveys, underwater diving services, partial demolition of the lash dock including concrete sawing and coring, erection of prefabricated pile jackets, media blasting and coating, removal of concrete debris, storm water pollution prevention planning and installation, installation of steel components, sheet pile, pile templates, geotextile/geogrid materials, dredged material placement, material and construction testing, vibration monitoring, reinforcing steel installation and fabrication, security fencing, providing crushed concrete base and crane mats, civil and structural engineering services, morgan's point bulkhead wall construction, earthwork and revetment installation, and registered professional land surveying.
