FY25 savannah inner harbor dredging project. The contract provides construction services including furnishing personnel, transportation, mobilization and demobilization, equipment, and materials required for maintenance dredging of the savannah inner harbor, typically using a hydraulic cutterhead dredge to remove approximately four million Cubic Yards of Material. Includes Maintaining Authorized Depths in Various Sections of The Harbor Channel, Including the Kings Island Turning Basin, Managing Potential Obstructions, And Handling Sediments Containing Cadmium (CD) under special conditions. Dredged material is placed in confined upland disposal areas, and environmental restrictions may affect dredging schedules, particularly for striped bass spawning and sturgeon aggregation areas.
