Government Description
Sofa: Israel non-mission area construction. The project involves construction of a Life Support Area (LSA) in southern Israel, providing non-permanent facilities including billeting, dining, administrative, maintenance, storage, and support facilities, along with associated utilities such as commercial power with back-up generation, fuel storage, water storage and distribution, and sewer collection. Additional work includes anti-terrorism measures, site development, fencing, lighting, paving, parking, storm drainage, information systems, signage, heating systems, general site clearance, grading, and demolition of multiple small buildings. Construction will be executed in accordance with host nation technical requirements (HNTRS), standards institution of Israel, and USACE specifications, and is divided into two phases covering ready buildings, guardbooth, substation, generator canopy, vehicle and hazmat storage, maintenance and wastewater facilities, barracks, community center, dining facility, sidewalks, water culverts, roads, and junctions.
