No. 1 engine rebuild, serial no. 38D8700. This contract is for the refurbishment of ten fairbanks morse opposed piston engines (model 38D81/8) at the W.G. Huxtable pumping plant, including the update and commissioning of ten engine control systems. Includes removal and replacement of components, transportation of parts to and from the site, start-up and commissioning of each engine, and on-site training for USACE employees on new equipment and procedures. All work must maintain at least 75% pumping capacity at the plant, conform to applicable codes, and is considered a turn-key task.

Fairbanks Morse, Beloit, Wisconsin, was awarded a $31,038,525 contract to rebuild engines at the Huxtable and Graham Burke Pumping Plant. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Marianna, Arkansas, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 13, 2026. Fiscal 2023 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funds in the amount of $31,038,525 were obligated at the time of the award.
