Government Description
Tampa harbor, Dredge Material Management Area (DMMA) 3-D site improvements and maintenance in hillsborough county, Florida. The project includes construction of two new weir structures in the DMMA 3-D basin, with associated concrete foundation, discharge pipes, filter drain and clsm, helical anchors, mitered end sections, riprap outfall area, floating platform, gangway, and flap gate. Work also involves deconstruction and reconstruction of the existing dike, construction of new earthwork features including ramps, repair and stabilization of eroded sections of the exterior dike slope with fill, riprap, and sod, removal and replacement of the damaged gangway at the existing weirs, modification of the floating dock for proper operation, and concrete repairs at the existing weirs.
